Library Employee Advocacy Forum (LEAF)

The committee functions as an advisory group regarding staff concerns and as a communication link between library administrators and staff (student, general, and professional).

LEAF Statement of Purpose

The Library Employee Advocacy Forum (LEAF) is authorized by the University Librarian as an organization through which employees may participate in the governance of the Emory Libraries. The committee is an advocacy group for employee concerns and is a communication link between library administrators and employees (student, general, and professional). LEAF provides information and ideas to policy-makers, addresses common concerns in the workplace, and helps clarify policies, practices, and programs of Emory University Libraries and the University. The library’s Employee Council representative, who serves an ex-officio role within LEAF, also represents library employees in the governance of the University.
